Mark E. Walker –
Born in St. Thomas, Jamaica, Mark E. Walker is the designer and creator of the Evolve Lifewear clothing line.
Mark has been an athlete his entire life. At the age of 14 he was introduced to the weight room by his football coach. Since then he has been active in a wide range of fitness and athletics. From competing in Natural Body Competitions and playing college football, to running marathons, being a AA1A personal trainer and practicing yoga, Walker has dedicated his life to giving and receiving the blessings of a healthy, conscious lifestyle.
Inspired at an early age by his Father, an upholsterer, Walker's first attempt at designing was at the age of nine. He would use excess leather and canvas from his Father's shop to make purses which he would sell at school. That was his first business venture. Many years later, during his early 20's, Walker began working with his cousin who had a fashion line in New York that catered to entertainers. Frustrated with the lack of options in both design and style for an athletic body type, he began designing clothes for himself.
Then, after many inquiries from friends and family, Walker expanded and started designing clothes for everyone to enjoy.
Evolve Lifewear is more than just the clothing it sells, it’s a celebration of life. Mark states, "We are so much more than our reflection in the mirror. We are multifaceted, creative beings that are all connected to each other in many profound ways. Our Lifewear reflects that, it helps keeps that connection alive."
Evolve Lifewear represents three main components; mind, body and soul. Walker truly believes in meditating, giving back, having a personal relationship with the higher source, and being thankful for all of our blessings.
